MN Multi-State Carry Permit Class (June 20, 2026)

Taught by certified instructors, this course covers all of the safety, handling, tactics, and education that you will need to be ready to apply for your Minnesota multi-state permit to carry.

This course covers a wide range of topics, ensuring students have a solid knowledge base if they choose to carry a firearm for protection. Some topics covered are: 

  • Concealed carry lifestyle/mindset

  • Obtaining your permit

  • Where you are prohibited from carrying

  • Carrying in other states

  • Laws on the use of deadly force

  • Firearms safety, handguns, and carry equipment

  • Recommendations for ongoing training

This class includes 5+ hours of classroom discussion, hands-on examination of firearms, plus a shooting qualification. We provide safe and accurate .22 pistols, ammunition, targets, and personal protective gear. If you plan to shoot your pistol for the qualification, bring 30 rounds of new ammunition.

Participants must be 18+ years of age and be legally able to own a firearm.

This is not a class to learn to shoot! Participants should be proficient and safe on the range.

Includes:

  • 5+ hours classroom

  • Hands-on firearm handling

  • Shooting qualification

  • All equipment provided (.22 pistols, ammo, targets, eye/ear protection.) If you prefer to use your own handgun for the shooting qualification, bring 30 rounds of new ammo.

Requirements:

  • 18+ and legally eligible to own a firearm

  • Prior range proficiency
